& science writing
The skills required to produce good journalism are widely applicable across industries. My interviewing acumen, narrative eye, keen powers of observation, research skills, and editorial sense have proved essential in my work producing paid content and ghostwriting for the travel, scientific research, finance, and technology sectors.
Past content and ghostwriting clients include Robinhood, Element Critical, Stanford University, University of California San Francisco, Pomona College, the Gladstone Institutes, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the MIT Technology Review.

Ghostwriting is an act of deep trust and collaboration. You are lending me your voice, and I take that privilege seriously. Whether I am preparing a book proposal for submission or helping a subject matter expert organize their thoughts, I approach the process with respect and care. From ideation support to organization, drafting to editing, I genuinely enjoy the challenge of slipping into another person's perspective! Some of my ghostwriting experience includes:
Ghostwriting and editing a proposal and then developing, writing, and editing a manuscript for a women's finance guide published by a major publishing house in 2025—6 years
Ghostwriting thought leadership blog posts for a major venture capital firm—2 years
Ghostwriting thought leadership blog posts for a data center solutions company—1 year

Science writing
The work I do digesting and synthesizing messy, dense, or technical information for my journalism applies equally to the academic sphere. Through my work in public television, with two major research universities and one research institute, I have honed my ability to translate complex subjects for the lay reader, focusing on the delicate balance between detail, nuance, and digestibility. I have become particularly skilled at quickly becoming conversant enough in a brand new topic to ask intelligent questions of stakeholders, anticipate areas of reader confusion, and then compose content that provides clarity. Some of my science writing experience includes:
Reporting and writing articles as staff writer for a public television science program—3 years
Developing website content for a major research institute—1 year
Ghostwriting grant reports for scientists at two major research universities across a variety of departments—5 years

In many ways, content writing—especially in the travel, lifestyle, and alumni publication realm— lives at the very edges of journalism. The infrastructure and rules underpinning this content may differ from journalism, but the outcome is the same: work that helps readers navigate their lives with a little more ease, builds empathy across difference, or illuminates some small corner of the world. My diverse content experience has included:
Regular contributions for an evergreen local travel and lifestyle section of a major newspaper—1 year
Regular contributions to special advertising section in a major newspaper, with topics including senior living, food and lifestyle, and local travel—3 years
Regular contributions to alumni magazines at three major universities, writing short- and long-form features highlighting alumni of note and the remarkable work they're doing—4 years
Website content for a major Hungarian wine brand looking to break into the American market—1 year
